Technical Account Manager-Plastics, (BH 962)
Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the biodegradable plastics market. They are seeking a Technical Account Manager to sell natural biodegradable ingredients to the manufacture of plastics.
This person can base from home (if near a major airport and plastics accounts) and will travel as much as 50% throughout the US developing new business opportunities in this hot market segment.
The ideal candidate will have a Chemical or Plastics Engineering degree and 3+ years in plastics manufacturing, with biodegradable experience being ideal.
The candidate does not have to have sales experience, but any customer interface would be a plus. What is required: classic sales traits, extraordinary work ethic, excellent communication and presentation skills, competitive spirit, interpersonal maturity, drive and ambition as well as a genuine desire to move into a sales role.
